Your care document should not become a profile.
CareLoop is private-tab by design. It asks for the minimum text needed to organize instructions and does not provide accounts, longitudinal history, or cloud document storage.
Review first
CareLoop scans for common personal-data patterns and asks you to remove names, dates, addresses, and identifiers.
Approve explicitly
Only the text you review and confirm as fictional or de-identified is sent for analysis.
Recover, then clear
Approved text and progress stay in temporary tab storage for up to 12 hours so a refresh does not erase your work. Closing the tab or choosing Clear session removes it.
What CareLoop does not store in the cloud
- Uploaded PDF files
- Instruction text or generated plans
- Teach-back answers
- Accounts or longitudinal history
Temporary private-tab data is not a secure medical record. Clear it before leaving a shared device.
What leaves the browser
After you confirm the privacy review, approved de-identified text is sent to CareLoop's analysis route. When Gemini is configured, the route sends that text to Gemini to propose a structured plan; otherwise exact-source mode organizes it without that model request. Teach-back follows the same pattern.
Do not submit protected health information. Free Gemini input may be reviewed or used by Google to improve its products, subject to Google's terms.
Your review is the final privacy gate
Automated detection is a helper, not a guarantee. If text includes information that identifies a person, remove it before continuing—or do not use the service for that document.
